Klimaoprema Celebrates 50 Years of Business

With 800 guests, business partners, and friends in attendance, Klimaoprema celebrated 50 years of successful operation. The gala event took place on September 18, 2025, at the Mozaik Event Center in Zagreb.
In his opening speech, Klimaoprema’s CEO, Sergio Galošić, emphasized that these fifty years have been written through the vision, courage, and dedication of many generations, as well as by the decisions of people who believed that great stories can be built even from a small country. He noted that the owners, who joined the company at a pivotal moment, brought a new vision and energy. The clear decision to create a modern company with the strength and expertise to compete in the most demanding global markets placed Klimaoprema on the world map.
Galošić expressed special gratitude to the employees — the heart and driving force of the company — and to partners, clients, and suppliers who gave Klimaoprema a chance when it was still a small, unknown business on the global stage. He concluded his speech by saying that with knowledge, effort, and courage, we can achieve more than we imagine, sending a message to young people that today’s world often seeks quick results and instant success. Still, actual value lies in perseverance, patience, long-term work, and continuous learning. That is the only path to genuine success — and Klimaoprema is living proof that it pays off.
This was followed by a speech from the modest and humble owners of Klimaoprema, Davor Krezić and Tomislav Rukavina, who many years ago, over a simple meal of beans, decided to take out a loan with a 25% interest rate and revive Klimaoprema. Their business philosophy is built on trust and unity. In an emotional address, Krezić emphasized that on any business journey, there will always be failures — and there will be more in the future — but rising after each fall is what distinguishes the successful from the rest. The owners conveyed that one must hold on to core life values and move forward with courage and faith, believing in goodness and trusting in God’s help.
After these heartfelt speeches, a short film dedicated to the company’s 50th anniversary was shown. Though it lasted ten minutes, it felt like only three to the audience. Klimaoprema employees — some of whom have been with the company for over 30 years — shared what the company means to them, what they value most, and what motivates them. The room erupted in applause and admiration for the employees who are building the company’s future.
The entertainment program featured performances by world-renowned cellist Ana Rucner, the 2024 Croatia’s Got Talent winner Tamia Šeme, who performed aerial silk and hoop dances, and Marko Tolja with his Sinatra show. The rich program carried the celebration late into the night.
